Enchanting Portofino and Cinque Terre
Day 1 Arrival
The journey takes us to the beautiful Versilia coast in Tuscany. During the ride there will be plenty of breaks to eat and stretch your legs.
Day 2 Picturesque Cinque Terre
In the morning, we first take the boat from La Spezia to the colorful coastal town of Portovenere, which lies on the edge of the Cinque Terre National Park. After a short stay, we set off from Portovenere on a boat trip along the steep coast of the Cinque Terre – past Riomaggiore, Manarola and Corniglia to Vernazza. Once there, we have the opportunity to take a stroll through the village before the boat takes us on to Monterosso, the westernmost village in the Cinque Terre. After the tour, you will take the train back to La Spezia in the afternoon.
Day 3 Sestri Levante – Basilica dei Fieschi – Chiavari
After breakfast, we visit the unique town of Sestri Levante with its two famous bays: The beautiful Baia del Silenzio, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, and the Baia della Favole. We will take part in a guided tour of a traditional company where you will learn all about the production of olive oil. You will then have some free time before we continue to the Basilica dei Fieschi. We spend the afternoon in Chiavari, whose brightly colored facades are typical of the picture-book world of the Cinque Terre.
Day 4 Camogli – San Fruttuoso – Portofino – Rapallo
In the morning, our bus takes us to the picturesque harbor town of Camogli. After a short walk through the idyllic village, the boat takes us to San Fruttuoso. The tour then continues by boat to the most fashionable port in Liguria: the former fishing village of Portofino. The pastel-colored houses nestle against the steep slopes in a beautiful bay. Enjoy the unique ambience before we take the boat to the last stop of the day: Rapallo.
Day 5 Journey home
Today it’s time to say goodbye to Bella Italia. The journey home includes plenty of breaks.
