Day 1: Arrival and exploration of Heiligenkreuz
Our tour begins with a drive along the Westautobahn to Vienna. A special stopover takes us to the famous Heiligenkreuz Abbey, an impressive Cistercian monastery with unique Gothic architecture. After a delicious lunch, we discover the monastery on an exciting guided tour. In the afternoon, we dive into the mysterious world of the Seegrotte Hinterbrühl, home to Europe’s largest underground lake – a fascinating experience! We end the day at the ****Eventhotel Pyramide, where we check into our comfortable rooms and enjoy a cozy dinner.
Day 2: Discovering Vienna
After a leisurely breakfast, we set off into the fascinating world of the Austrian capital. During a city tour, we explore highlights such as the Hofburg, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, the Ringstrasse, and Belvedere Palace. A stroll through the romantic alleys of Vienna’s Old Town allows us to feel the charm of the metropolis. The day ends atmospherically at a traditional Heuriger, where we enjoy regional delicacies and excellent wines in a convivial atmosphere.
Day 3: Parliament and return journey
On the last day, we visit the magnificent Parliament building in Vienna, an architectural masterpiece in the Greek-antique style. During an informative tour, we delve into the history and significance of this impressive building. Afterwards, we start our journey home via the picturesque Semmering route – a perfect opportunity to review the diverse impressions of the trip. In the evening, we arrive home relaxed and full of unforgettable memories.
