Day 1 – Arrival & Ham Indulgence in San Daniele
In good spirits, you start your journey from the Pinzgau and Pongau regions towards the south – destination: the beautiful Veneto! Your first stop takes you to San Daniele, where you will visit a traditional ham factory. During an exciting tour, you will learn how the famous San Daniele ham is made – and of course, you can also taste the delicious specialties.
Afterwards, you continue your journey and reach your elegant ****Hotel Palladio in Bassano del Grappa, where you will be warmly welcomed. Enjoy a leisurely end to the first day with a joint dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 – Along the Prosecco Road
After an extensive breakfast at the hotel, embark on a delightful journey of discovery through the heart of the Prosecco region. Your local tour guide will accompany you throughout the day along the picturesque Prosecco Road, where gentle hills, elegant wineries and charming villages characterize the landscape.
During a wine tasting with a small snack, you will enjoy the sparkling aromas of the fine wine and learn interesting facts about the art of Prosecco production. A day full of joie de vivre, sun and taste!
In the evening, return to the hotel and enjoy a fine dinner together.
Day 3 – Bassano & the Grappa Tradition
Today you will get to know the charming resort of Bassano del Grappa better. During a two-hour city tour, you will stroll through the historic old town, admire the famous Ponte degli Alpini wooden bridge and be enchanted by the Venetian flair.
Of course, a tasting of the namesake should not be missing: During a grappa tasting, you will sample fine wines and discover the fine spirit of the region in the truest sense of the word. In the evening, enjoy a last dinner together at the hotel – with many beautiful impressions in your luggage.
Day 4 – Return journey via the Dolomites
After breakfast it is time to say goodbye – but not without one last highlight. On the leisurely journey home, you will make a stop at the picturesque Lake Misurina. Surrounded by the majestic Dolomites, enjoy the clear mountain air and the view of the turquoise water – a perfect end to your enjoyable trip to Italy.
