Day 1 – Arrival in the Tyrolean Ötztal
Arrival via Pongau / Pinzgau – Hochfilzen – St. Johann – Bocking (break) – we continue via Wörgl to Innsbruck through the Sellraintal to Gries, where we have our lunch. Then we drive via Kühtai to Längenfeld. Here we move into our hotel, where dinner is served around 7 p.m.
Day 2 – Ötztal Glacier Tour – Timmelsjocher High Alpine Road – Mountaineering Village Vent
Today we go on an eventful day trip with a local tour guide. The Ötztal Glacier Road, one of the highest roads in the Eastern Alps, awaits us. Furthermore, we experience an ascent and descent with the Tiefenbachbahn as well as the Timmelsjocher High Alpine Road, which offers us wonderful views of the majestic Ötztal Alps. Finally, we visit the mountaineering village of Vent with its Rofenhöfen, which are the highest farms in Europe at around 2,000 meters. Of course, there is also an extensive lunch break. Return to Längenfeld to our hotel. After dinner you have the opportunity to visit the Längenfeld thermal baths.
Day 3 – Maria Locherboden pilgrimage church – journey home
Today we start our journey home. This leads us over the Ötztal to the pilgrimage church Maria Locherboden, which is beautifully situated on the Mieming plateau. Short stay and onward journey via Telfs to Seefeld, where we spend our lunch break. Then drive home via Innsbruck – Wörgl – to the Pinzgau and Pongau.
